Since the introduction of the Honda Accord, its most serious competitors have been the Toyota Camry and the Nissan Altima. After a complete redesign last year, the Accord carries over almost unchanged for 2009. The Camry is luxurious, the Altima is considered more sporty, while the Accord is considered comfortable or somewhat between the two.   The Honda Accord's fuel tank will need to be refilled more often than the tank in the Camry.

  The Honda Accord is little heavier than the Toyota Camry, however, both the cars have tank of same size. Then, the Camry is little more spacious. Still, the Toyota Camry and the Honda Accord compete for the same parking spaces.

  The Toyota Camry feels somewhat slow because of its high horsepower-to-weight ratio compared to the Honda Accord. The Accord's low horsepower-to-weight ratio would knock you back into your seat when you accelerate.
