2009 Honda Civic - Comparison Of Various Styles

Honda Civic, since its introduction has been a benchmark for the economy car class. For the current year, the compact car carries over from the 2008 Honda Civic with some minor changes only. As ever, the new Civic is offered in both sedan and coupe.
The 2009 Civic Sedan is a 4-door, 5-passenger family sedan, while the 2009 Honda Civic Coupe is 2-door, 5-passenger family coupe. Both the body styles are available in several trim levels. They are:

For 2009, the Civic Sedan has been redesigned to offer more performance, value, technology and styling. It also adds two new trims- the DX Value Package (DX-VP) and the sporty LX-S to its existing lineup. The 2009 Honda Civic Sedan is powered by a responsive 140-horsepower 1.8-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine, which can be mated with either a 5-speed automatic transmission or a 5-speed manual transmission. Estimated fuel economy of the new sedan with manual transmission is 26 miles per gallon in the city and 34 miles per gallon on the highway, while with the automatic, it is 25 miles per gallon in the city and 36 miles per gallon on the highway. The latest sedan features fresh exterior design and luxurious leather interiors.
The 2009 Honda Civic Coupe gets a refreshed look that features a front end with new headlights, grille lower bumper, along with newly designed air inlets. A 140-horsepower, 1.8-Liter i-VTEC engine powers the standard coupe and offers up to 36 highway miles per gallon fuel economy. The 2009 Honda Civic Coupe is equipped with a bevy of impressive features and specs.
