The Civic is built in two body styles- sedan and coupe. Both the styles come in four trim levels. All 2009 Honda Civic Trims are available with different price tags and features. They are:

• DX
• LX
• EX and
• EX-L

Apart from the above trims, Honda is offering the Civic with more choices for the year 2009. Two new vibrant models- the 2009 Honda Civic DX Value Package (DX-VP) and the 2009 Honda Civic LX-S sedan join the current lineup. Here is a brief description of the different 2009 Honda Civic trim levels:

• 2009 Honda Civic DX: The Civic DX is nicely equipped with standard features like a driver air bag, passenger air bag, anti-theft vehicle system, rear defogger, power and tilt steering, 15-inch wheels and second row folding seats. Some of the options in the 2009 Honda Civic DX include, air conditioning, alloy wheels, fog lamps, CD player, rear spoiler or automatic transmission.
• 2009 Honda Civic LX: The 2009 Honda Civic LX comes with 16-inch wheels with covers, cruise control, power door locks and mirrors, an AM/FM radio with a CD player and four speakers, a folding rear seat, air conditioning and remote entry. The LX coupe has a six-speaker audio system.
• 2009 Honda Civic EX: The 2009 Honda Civic EX is equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels, power moonroof, audio controls on the steering wheel, one-touch power sunroof and an available voice-activated navigation system that includes XM satellite radio.
• 2009 Honda Civic EX-L: It comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, power moonroof, leather-trimmed heated seats and heated exterior mirrors.
• 2009 Honda Civic DX-VP: The DX's value package features 15-inch wheels, air conditioning, an AM/FM/CD audio system and an auxiliary input jack.
• 2009 Honda Civic LX-S Sedan: This new sedan features 16-inch aluminum wheels, rear decklid spoiler, chrome exhaust finisher, sport seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Besides, there are also two more models of Honda Civic- the 2009 Honda civic Si and the 2009 Honda Civic GX sedan.

• 2009 Honda Civic Si: The Si model is offered both as a sedan and a coupe. It essentially outfitted the features same as an EX. It also features a six-speed manual transmission, an aluminum shift knob, rear deck spoiler, cladding and aluminum pedals.
• 2009 Honda Civic GX Sedan: The GX model is equivalent to the LX trim level. It features alloy wheels, anti-Lock brakes, keyless entry/unlock, fog lamps and rear spoiler.

The 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid that gets 40 miles per gallon in the city and 45 miles per gallon on the highway, becomes more premium with addition of available features, such as leather-trimmed seating & steering wheel; heated front seats and side mirrors; and Bluetooth HandsFreeLink on models equipped with the Honda Satellite-linked1 Navigation System.
