Honda Element - Car Interior

The interior of the 2009 Honda Element offers seating for four passengers and flexible cargo area provided by flip-up rear seats that fold flat, fold up as well as to the side, or can be removed altogether. Element comes with a total of 103.6 cubic feet of passenger space and maximum 74.6 cubic feet of cargo area. The new Element features a new, redesigned center console; new color schemes, fabric and switchgear designs.
The interior provides numerous storage bins for cell phones, CDs, and beverage holders for super-size drinks. Available storage areas of the Element include, a large three-bin tray above the glove box; a modular 3-compartment overhead storage bin on EX, and SC trims; seat back storage on EX, and SC trims; six hooks for strapping down bikes or other bulky gear; and door storage pockets on all four doors.
Element LX and EX have a wipe-clean water resistant urethane-coated utility floor, while SC models have a carpeted cargo/passenger area. The latter also comes with a darker and less fanciful dashboard. SC's center control panel, vents and the steering wheel are adorned with piano-black trim along with unique fabrics and patterns.
