2009 marks the first makeover for Ridgeline since its introduction in 2006. The latest Ridgeline receives a total of fifty significant changes or new features inside and out! On the exterior, its front and rear ends receive face-lifts in the form of bumper redesigns and a different grille design. Inside, Ridgeline gets a new look for the instrument panel. It also features new seating materials, and a new steering wheel design. Some more notable features of the 2009 Ridgeline include:
- Integrated trailer hitch with seven-pin trailer wiring.
- New daytime running lights.
- Sporty 3-D look for gauges.
- An auxiliary input jack for MP3 players.
- Power sliding rear window.
- Heated front seats (RTL).
- Leather seating (RTL).
- 160-watt, seven-speaker, six-CD changer sound system (RTS, RTL).
- 18-inch wheels (RTL).
- The fully-automatic VTM-4 system (variable torque management four-wheel drive).
- More horsepower, torque from V-6 engine.
- Revamped transmission gear ratios for better acceleration.
