Home > Honda Ridgeline > Safety

We have been aware of Ridgeline's high-impact safety since 2006, when it happened to be the first-ever 4-door pickup truck to receive the federal government's highest safety rating possible (five stars) for both frontal and side impacts. Honda's forward-thinking safety technology is also apparent throughout the 2009 Ridgeline line-up. The 2009 Ridgeline continues to achieve five stars in government crash tests for frontal and side impacts. All Ridgelines are equipped with following standard safety features:
- Anti-lock brakes
- Brake assist
- Advanced dual-stage, dual-threshold driver's and front passenger's SRS airbags
- Front side airbags with passenger-side Occupant Position Detection System(OPDS)
- Two-row side-curtain airbags with a rollover sensor
- Front seat active head restraints
- A tire pressure monitoring system
- Daytime running lights
- Electronic brake distribution
- An electronic stability system with traction control
